Provision of Services
Service and Maintenance:
We take a fundamental approach to reducing loss and downtime, while securing our clients assets. We are able to offer a diverse and comprehensive range of Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Response packages to suit individual needs. All R H Irving Engineers are trained and competent to high levels of expertise, having all the necessary accreditations to carry out re-active and planned maintenance works on most premises.
A significant financial investment has been made into a now successful and established Service and PPM Software Management Package with a combined and bespoke IPad Application. Controlled centrally from our Matfen office, control of the Management Software is administered by our operations team.
We operate a paperless Service and PPM System with job allocation and reports all being completed upon an IPad, with site representatives endorsing Engineers Reports with a signature direct to the IPad screen. The Report is then emailed directly to our operations team and actioned accordingly. We have a fundamental approach to reducing our client’s downtime, loss and SLA measurement.
In October 2012, RHI Industrial's engaged Nineworks to create an enterprise delivered Ipad Application and a back office system (JAMS) Job Allocation Management System.
The application allows our Operations Team to issue re-active and PPM work out to the Engineering workforce and also to collect the data for interaction with the JAMS systems.
The JAMS system has allowed users (with correct privileges) to create, manage and amend authorisation, send out messages or bulletins and to allocate work. The system prompts engineers to carry out a vehicle check every 7 days, thus ensuring the Engineers Safety and upkeep of the vehicle.
The application captures all data with the client representative signature and is electronically forwarded to our Operations Team in real time, accompanying photos can be attached to the report using the IPad application.
Use of the IPad has dramatically reduced administration time and all reports are sent to client within 24hrs of receipt by the JAMS system. This has greatly reduced on our postage costs and reduced as forms part of the commitment to reducing our environmental carbon footprint.
Reactive Emergency and Breakdown Response
With a national framework of skilled Engineers, R H Irving Industrial engineers have an established reactive platform to respond quickly to any Perimeter Security System emergency or breakdown.
Equipped with information from our IPad enabled (JAMS) Service Maintenance system, RHI Industrial engineers arrive with a full understanding of all necessary requirements of the reported emergency or breakdown.
Planned Preventative Maintenance
Planned Preventative Maintenance is fundamental to the continued operation and reliability of your equipment. Our proactive approach will determine and identify any likely future breakdown and provide an opportunity to establish corrective or remedial work to avoid such failure.
An electronic copy of the PPM report will be provided to the client identifying work undertaken and advising of any recommendations.
Electronic copies are kept of all emergency and breakdown responses, together with PPM, including faults and recommendations for improvement. Copies of the reports will be emailed for our client’s retention.
We aim to turnaround quotation requests within 24 to 48 hours, dependant on specific limitations set by suppliers and manufacturers.
